Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), operated by GMR Aero, has launched Family@Del, a new initiative designed to make air travel easier and more comfortable for families at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI). The program is now active across Terminals 1, 2, and 3 for domestic departures.
Family@Del offers several features to reduce travel stress for families. These include dedicated entry gates, exclusive family check-in counters, and priority security lanes. Families also get access to reserved seating areas at food courts, along with specially curated kids' menus.
The initiative goes beyond check-in and security. Passengers can use buggy services up to boarding gates, complimentary baby strollers, and private baby care rooms. Washrooms designed for passengers with reduced mobility are also available, along with trained family assistance staff who help guide travelers through the airport.
Family@Del is especially aimed at supporting families traveling with infants, elderly members, and passengers with limited mobility. By offering extra care and guided support, the airport hopes to make journeys more relaxed and predictable for such travelers.

Commenting on the launch, Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of DIAL, said the initiative reflects the airport's focus on inclusion and comfort. He added that the program was designed to deliver a smooth, stress-free experience from arrival at the terminal to boarding the flight.
With Family@Del, Delhi Airport joins a growing list of global hubs focusing on passenger-centric travel. The move strengthens IGI Airport's position as a modern, family-friendly gateway for domestic air travel in India.
